Usagi, ever so lazy, messy, hungry, loud, whiny, funny, and ditsy is also Sailor Moon and the leader of the Senshi. She is perhaps the most idolized of all the senshi. (In the anime, Sailor V-chan being the leader in the manga).She enjoys doing nothing but eating, playing videogames, and reading comic books(manga). This may explain her constant failure to do well in academics. (e.e;*feels some similarities*). Her dream was once to become a heroine like her past idol Sailor-V, she didn't know she'd get her wish, and at first it was a bit to overwhelming for her. As the series goes on you see her mature as a leader and as a person yet remain the Usagi we all fall in love with. At the beginning of the series Mamoru teases Usagi calling her odango-chan or "meatballhead" Secretly hidden that she who loves tuxedo mask also loves mamoru. It is revealed when they are sent to fight Kunzite, close to the final battle with Beryl-sama. They are forced to transform infront of each other and soon after Usagi is also revealed as the Moon Princess. In her past life as Princess Serenity she was in love with Prince Endymion. And in their future lives in Crystal tokyo they are to rule the kindom and eventually marry in the end Usagi's dream comming true at last.

Aino Minako may resemble Usagi-chan in many ways minus the whining ^^;;. In the manga,Sailor Venus actually having its own manga called "Sailor V" before Sailor Moon even came about. Sailor Venus is the unbenounced leader of the senshi. She isn't the moon princess and doesn't get the guy, but still is quite the leader. Before Minako became a senshi she was Sailor V, as noticed in the anime she has her own video game and Usagi and the other senshi somewhat idolize her and is a well known hero. Sailor V is a senshi in Britian though not in Japan. She revealed her identity to her best, friend, Katrina(also a police officer) whom she loved very much also introducing her best friend to the man which she fell in love with, Alan, along the way. The three were very close to each other and did practically everything together. Minako, having a hard life at home, was happy to be away from her everyday worries with friends she could count on. She had heard rummers of monsters appearing in an abbandoned warehouse. She and by now her compainions(her bestfriend and the boy she loved)went to the warehouse to see what was going on. Saior V entered first...it had been a trap. There was an explosion and Sailor V was nowhere in site. Katrina and Alan held each other together in their arms. They each shed tears as they comforted each other. Sailor V watched as she was badly wounded and in much pain and began to struggle to her dear friends to see that they too were okay and to let them know she was fine. Before she got the chance her heart was broken as she saw the two kiss. This whole time she had been to blind to see that the two had fallen in love right before her eyes. Yet, she was still crushed. Tears ran down her cheeks as she say along the side of the building. She let them think she was dead and left Britian for Japan. In Japan as we all know she ended up meeting the other Senshi and becoming a Sailor Senshi. Minako-chan wears the ribbon in her hair because a boy asked her too and told her she wouold look beautiful with it(he told a lot of girls that -.-;;) Through the Sailor Stars series as Minako grows and her powers do the Sailor Stars come along. Minako seems to have a lovely little crush on Yaten even after finding out that he is really a girl. Finally notice the strinking resemblence between our dear Minako and Usagi? ^-^

Rei is Usagi's best friend. She's considered the most beautiful, along with Minako.Although, Rei being annoyed easily by whiners and slackers and even mentioning that she would be a better suited leader than her yellow haired clumsy companion, The bond that the two share is fare deeper than any of the other senshi(Discluding Michiru and Hakura). Although in the anime series she is considered to be easily angered in the manga its quite different. She is calm and not easily angered and considered the second leader only second to Sailor V. She is a very spiritual person in both series wich comes into play. She is considered a loner, having manytimes only the company of her two pet crows, Demos and Phobos. The only people whom she trusts are the other Senshi. She is a very determined and strongwilled individual. Her powers are a lot stronger in the manga than they are in the series. Her attitude in the well known anime may be what attracts people to the lovely Hino Rei, but they must look deeper inside to understand what makes up Rei.

Ami is the blue haired beautiful genious and perfectionist. She is ever so graceful and a serenity (the word not the queen x.x;;) seems to surround her where ever she goes. As the series moves on you get to see more of Ami as she opens up to the other Senshi revealing more of herself. She is indeed a hard worker. She values her studies because they are important to her dream of becomming a doctor. She is insecure about herself which is why she is so reserved. If you watch the subbed version of the anime you can better understand the emotion of Ami through her voice. Inside Ami may often feel like she is lonely, but she realises she isn't really alone after seeing her friends that surround her. She is perhaps the most reliable of the Senshi. With the gifts she was given as a Senshi, her computer and her eyewear, she is an asset to the Senshi. They would have gone into a lot of battles knowing little about their enemies and perhaps not even making it to the end if it wasn't for the information that Ami provided. Ami tends to have a relationship with all the cats being that she is rather fond of felines herself. Sailor Mercury is a hard soldier not to respect.

Sailor Jupiter / Kino Makoto

Makoto hates planes so much because her parents died in a plane crash. For that reason she kept to her self because inside she had been lonely and hurting from it. When she first came to Jr. High School rumors spread about her being kicked out of her previous school due to beating up other students or being so violent (her in reality prob. being able to do so with her skills in martial arts) . Usagi though sees beyond this and befriends Mokoto. Mokoto is your somewhat "tough girl", her feminine side easily masked in the american version by the dubbed voice she is given, don't be fooled, it is there. She is often a motherly figure, you will note this as she enjoys taking care of Chibi-Usa and many of her friends (This shown a lot more through the Manga than through the anime). She loves nature and plants, never seeing her without her rose earings. Mokoto would and was always loyal to her Moon Princess. Mokoto is very tough, loyal, and sincere she has an outer shell and doesn't let many in or take any sort of abuse.
